Objectives

TYO staff work closely with community members to design programs and resources that match local capacities, needs and interests. Our extensive needs assessment led to the following objectives, which guide our program offerings:

• Offer high-quality early childhood programs that enrich children’s social, intellectual and physical development
• Promote respect for and availability of high-quality, holistic early childhood programs, especially for the most disadvantaged children
• Impart knowledge and skills that guide young people’s development as community leaders and parents
• Create a safe space within which all community members, especially the most disadvantaged, enjoy a variety of programs based on local needs and interests
  These programs contribute to healthy families that are conducive to a safe, educational and happy childhood for TYO’s primary target group.
• Facilitate awareness, communication and cooperation across local and international divides to improve mutual understanding and program practices
